As Vietnam is still struggling with the effects of COVID-19 restrictions, many families have lost their income as a result of the downturn in the economy and travel restrictions that prevent people from migrating to find work in other provinces and cities. As a result, many families are experiencing difficulties putting food on the table. Blue Dragon Germany’s donors have raised funds to provide food packages for families over the Christmas and Tet period, to ensure that children are well-nourished, and can even enjoy some special meals during the celebrations. Each family is provided with a package of food, including dry goods such as noodles, peanuts, canned meat, as well as essentials such as cooking oil and fish sauce and eggs for protein. These packages are valued at 13.00 Euros.
In total BDG donated of 2,643 EUR for food packages for families experiencing food poverty to provide 203 families to have a happy Christmas and Tet.
